Alice has extensive experience building patent portfolios, and providing counseling on intellectual property strategy, for technology companies in a variety of industries, from data storage to e-commerce to moonshots. Alice has shaped patent portfolios for such breakthrough technologies as robotics, health and medical devices, and autonomous vehicle systems, including sensor and machine learning systems in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), cars, and lighter-than-air (LTA) aircraft.
In her prior roles as in-house counsel at industry-leading companies, such as X and Western Digital, Alice developed invaluable insight into developing and executing efficient and effective intellectual property strategies for leaders in different industries, as well as adapting to an intellectual property landscape that is increasingly collaborative and competitive.
Alice is registered as a patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, admitted to practice in the State of California and admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, the Northern and Southern Districts of California, and the Eastern District of Texas.
